It’s been a long journey but Golden State Guiding is beyond excited to announce that we’ve been permitted to guide on Mount Shasta in the Shasta-Trinity National Forest! Mount Shasta is the 5th tallest peak in California and one of twelve coveted 14er’s with a prominence over 300 feet. Aspiring mountaineers, skiers and splitboarders from all over the world look to climb and descend Shasta’s flanks during the spring and summer months. We’ve got multiple programs to choose from ranging in length from 2-3 days on a variety of routes on Mount Shasta.
