SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA & THE EASTERN SIERRA

Ready to transition from top roping to lead climbing outdoors? Knowing how to correctly lead climb and lead belay are important technical skills all serious climbers should have in their bag of tricks. In our Lead Climbing 101 course we'll teach you the necessary skills to lead climb and lead belay in a controlled environment. Our professionally trained AMGA Guides will provide hands on instruction throughout the course which includes safety checks, flaking ropes, spotting, belay techniques, clipping techniques, verbal commands and more.
