We couldn’t be more stoked for this guy right here! GSG Guide @kelvin_artdoors successfully lead a team up the stunning peaks of Ama Dablam (6,812 m/ 22,349’) and Island Peak (6,189 m/ 20,305’) located in the Himalaya/ Eastern Nepal this October. Both mountains reside outside of the town Pangboche, the gateway to Everest. Kelvin’s success was a culmination of years of dedication and hard work put into various mountain ranges all over the world. We can’t think of a more humble and deserving guy to congratulate. Waita get after your dreams and send it Kelvin!
GSG Guide Kelvin Nguyen // Liberty Ridge Ascent
Golden State Guiding's Kelvin Nguyen, along with 6 other team members successfully made the summit of Mt. Rainier this week via the Liberty Ridge route. Conditions were as good as they get, reported Kelvin once back to basecamp. Rangers reported this was the first successful ascent of the route all season, great job everyone! Big congratulations to Kelvin sending a long time dream, couldn't be more happy for him. Keep crushing Kelvin!

Golden State Guiding Guide Kelvin Nguyen keeping busy as the summer months come to a close. Kelvin recently sent the Third Pillar of Dana and OZ up in Tuolumne Meadows over Labor Day weekend. Two amazing climbs that should at the top of any climbers tick list!

And next up is GSG Ambassador Orion Feist and partner Adam for their send of the Harding Route on Keeler Needle this past weekend (5.10+, V, 2000'), great send guys!
G2C May Clinic Series Wrap Up // Mission Gorge
Well that officially wraps up the first round of G2C (Gym 2 Crag) with Golden State Guiding and Vertical Hold Climbing Gym! Thanks to all of our participants that signed up for a month of outdoor climbing education and fun! We couldn't be more pleased with the outcome and progress each of you had! Here are a few shots from yesterday's outing at Mission Gorge. Special thanks to GSG Guides Greg Davis and Kelvin Nguyen for facilitating some of the outings.
