Golden State Guiding was all over the place this past weekend in Southern California from the cliffs of Mission Gorge to the splitter cracks on Mount Woodson to the high desert in Joshua Tree! Big thanks to all that came out and to our guides Greg Davis, Allison Terray and guide apprentice Tyler Dandurand. It was a great weekend of climbing!

Brothers Mark and Matt Altman spent the better half of the day learning top site managed systems, mock leading with gear and climbing some really good crack. GSG x Vertical Hold Climbing Gym Day Outdoors // Mt. Woodson
Golden State Guiding teamed up with partner Vertical Hold Climbing Gym for two days of outdoor rock climbing in San Diego for the month of July. Our first outing took place at Mt. Woodson this past Sunday and it sure was hot! Nevertheless we took to the hill and had a great time on some classic cracks! Here, experienced climber Brian Rau demonstrates his stoke for the sport. It was all tape gloves and smiles out there!
