TJ loves fine wine, puppies, and of course rock and ice climbing. In high school, he was introduced to climbing by his science teacher and was hooked after reaching the top of Seneca Rocks in West Virginia.

TJ enjoys all aspects of climbing but is particularly fond of traditional climbing in his home crag of the Gunks in New York. In the winter time, you can find TJ shivering on the side of many of the frozen flows in the Northeast.

Having a degree in Education, and currently completing a masters in Expeditionary Studies, TJ enjoys sharing his passion with others and helping them learn new skills on and off the mountain.

TJ's an AMGA Certified Rock Guide, AMGA Single Pitch Instructor, AMGA Ice Instructor Course Graduate, New York State Licensed Guide, Wilderness First Responder and an AIARE (avalanche training) Level 1 Graduate.
