After a long hiatus the wait is over! Golden State Guiding is excited to announce we’re heading back to Colorado this Fall for our Ladies Weekend Out Colorado event!
Golden State Guiding has partnered up with the highly acclaimed Colorado guide service, Alpine to the Max, woman’s sports top industry leader and long time partner Tera Kaia, world renowned outerwear manufacturer and outdoor industry leader Rab Equipment, and our friends over at The Spot Climbing Gym, for an all ladies weekend of climbing in Colorado, September 29th - October 1st! Twelve lucky ladies will have the opportunity to climb at some of Colorado’s most popular rock climbing areas with our professionally trained, AMGA Guides. All three days will be packed with fun climbing for all abilities, technical clinics introducing you to outdoor climbing, community, and camaraderie! All participants will also have the option to purchase an additional day of multi pitch climbing at the world famous Flatirons in Boulder, Colorado!
Our Ladies Weekend Out events are quickly becoming the go-to, all female climbing events to attend! The smaller group size sets the stage for a more intimate weekend where participants get to know one-another and receive more personalized instruction. 3 guided days of outdoor rock climbing with our all female, AMGA guide team.
Instructional clinics all 3 days, geared towards climbing on your own outdoors.
The option to purchase an additional day of multi pitch climbing in the Flat Irons at a discounted rate.
Any personal climbing equipment for the weekend including a harness, helmet and climbing shoes.

THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 28TH
We’ll kick off our Ladies Weekend Out Colorado event in good style by hosting a meetup at The Spot Climbing Gym on Thursday, September 28th, with our partner Rab Equipment. Come hang and get to know some of your new climbing partners for the weekend and talk shop with our incredible female guide team. If you can’t make it to this first meet up don’t sweat it, there will be plenty more fun to be had throughout the weekend!
FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 29TH
Rock climbing in Eldorado Canyon! We’ll send a detailed email with meetup locations prior to the event. Outdoor rock climbing clinics will be facilitated throughout the day. Friday we’ll head back into town to a pre-determined brewery for a social evening with the entire group.
SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 30TH
Rock climbing in Boulder Canyon! We’ll send a detailed email with meetup locations prior to the event. Outdoor rock climbing clinics will be facilitated throughout the day. After our second day of rock climbing we’ll head into town for some tasty food and drinks to cap the day off (location TBD). ***Please note dinner and drinks are not included in the cost of the event***
SUNDAY, OCTOBER 1ST
Rock climbing in Clear Creek Canyon! We’ll send a detailed email with meetup locations prior to the event. Outdoor rock climbing clinics will be facilitated throughout the day. We'll end the day around 2:00 pm, pack up and head home.
MONDAY, OCTOBER 2ND
Option to purchase an additional day of multi pitch climbing in the Flatirons at 20% off standard private rates!

All guests will be responsible for their own meals for the duration of the event. This includes breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks during all three days of climbing. No accommodations are included in the cost of this event. All of the climbing is centrally located around Boulder, Colorado so booking your accommodations in the town of Boulder, Golden, Superior, Lousiville, Broomfield, or Westminster will be best.
