You’re reading this correctly, Golden State Guiding is excited to announce our inaugural Ladies Weekend Out Backpacking trip in Yosemite National Park! Twelve Ladies will have the opportunity to join Golden State Guiding’s awesome female guide team for a fun weekend getaway in Yosemite National Park this August 24th - 27th! Throughout the weekend we’ll travel through some of the most breathtaking scenery Yosemite National Park has to offer via Snow Creek to Yosemite Falls along the northern rim of the Valley. We’ll pass in front of awe inspiring monoliths such as Half Dome and Clouds Rest, meander our way past Basket Dome and North Dome, eventually making our way to the top of Upper Yosemite Falls, the sixth tallest waterfall in the United States, and tallest in California, with a vertical relief of 2,425’ feet!
